This year the winners of the 2020 Technology Impact Awards (TIAs) were announced virtually.
Unlike previous years where the winners were showered with attention at an in-person gala event, this year the awards were presented online.
Produced by the BC Tech Association, the TIA awards represent the cream of an impressive crop of innovative ventures fuelling unprecedented growth and global competitiveness across BC.
Now in its 27th year of celebrating excellence and innovation in the province’s tech sector, the TIAs are the largest and longest-running awards program of its kind.
Today’s event celebrated thirty-eight finalists across eleven categories and the winners are:

Company of the Year – Growth Success: Klue
Excellence in Global Export: AbCellera
Excellence in Technology Innovation: Terramera
Excellence in Technology Adoption: Finning
Company of the Year – Scale Success: Trulioo
Company of the Year – Anchor Success: Telus
Spirit of BC Tech – Purpose: SkyHive
GameChanger – Diversity & Inclusion: Unbounce
Tech Culture of the Year: Copperleaf
Person of the Year: Jack Newton, Clio
