It’s a great time to be looking for a new gig in Vancouver’s tech ecosystem and Tech Talent Canada is making it easier than ever with their upcoming virtual job fair.
Tech Talent Canada’s job fairs have been a huge success with 1,500+ educated, experienced, and diverse candidates at each of their events since they went virtual last fall.
Their event on February 24th will feature six Vancouver tech companies (and 30 more from across Canada) that have been in the news of late and are hiring aggressively.
Chime
San Francisco-headquartered fintech startup Chime delivers banking services through mobile phones and recently closed a fundraising that values the company at $14.5 billion.
In 2020 Chime officially announced that Vancouver’s talent pool and convenient time zone made it an ideal location for its first international office. Chime is currently hiring Software Developers.
Clio
Clio enables law firms to deliver better client experiences through cloud-based practice management, CRM and client intake software. Following a whopping USD $250 million funding round in 2019, the Burnaby-based company is rapidly modernizing law firms with technology—and hiring locals to help achieve this tremendous task.
Clio is home to one of Canada’s most admired corporate cultures and is hiring for 33 roles across Business Operations, Customer Success, Engineering, Finance, Marketing, People and Product.
MediaValet
MediaValet helps marketing and creative teams manage, collaborate and share their digital assets, improving productivity and increasing ROI. Leveraging the power of Microsoft Azure, MediaValet has built the first 100% cloud-based, enterprise-grade, digital asset management system – from scratch – on the Cloud.
MediaValet is hiring for eight roles across Sales, Marketing, Product, and Engineering.

Last year the UBC-incubated startup participated in Google for Startup’s first Women Founders accelerator cohort and recently raised a $1 million seed round.
Ziva Dynamics
Ziva Dynamics is a virtual character software company that is changing the character creation process by bringing physics-embedded soft tissue simulation to the forefront of the media and entertainment industry. With Ziva, artists are rapidly producing CG characters with dynamic muscles, fat and skin that automatically flex, wrinkle and jiggle just as they would in real life.
Ziva raised a $7 million seed round last year and is hiring Build Engineers, Game Programmers, and more.
