The New Ventures BC Competition, presented by Innovate BC, is in full swing and today they announced the companies that will be moving on to Round 2 of their 21st annual startup competition.
New Ventures BC is giving away over $250,000 in non-dilutive cash and prizes to the most promising tech ventures across the province. Beyond the top three Innovate BC prizes, there are industry specific prizes and a prize for the top regional startup.
Past prize winners include: AbCellera, aDolus, Cuboh, Ecoation, Jane Software, and Lumen5.
What’s next for the competitors? The ventures will attend a Startup Seminar Series and prepare a 5 page submission for the next round, due on May 6th.
