Sports startup PlayWize has partnered Premier Rugby Sevens (PR7s), the new sports league featuring the top U.S. Olympic rugby sevens athletes.
Founded by Ex-Olympian Gary Boddington and Vancouver tech icon Ray Walia, PlayWize is on a mission to modernize the financial management of athletes careers with a smart contracts, instant payments, and creating simple transparent processes that enhance athlete empowerment and increasing connectivity for brands, agents, athletes and teams.
PR7s is the first league of its kind in the USA, with both Men’s and Women’s teams, with a focus on pay equality for all, entertainment and accessibility for all fans.
The unique partnership will help the new league increase their visibility through the PlayWize sporting marketplace, helping them find talented athletes from around the world.
By using PlayWize, PR7s will avoid being inundated with extra administrative work, and be able to review all applications in one, simple and efficient place.
Interested athletes can now apply for the PR7’s opportunities by joining PlayWize and creating their athlete profile for free. Athlete profiles include bios, playing history, highlights videos, social media, stats, agent details and more, and allows Athletes to apply for opportunities.
Both male and female rugby athletes in Canadian and the US are encouraged to sign up to PlayWize and take a shot at joining the PR7s.

Vancouver-founded PlayWize has an International team in South Africa, France, UK, Australia, and India.
