Among the $250,000 in cash and prizes up for grabs at this year’s New Ventures BC Competition is the $10,000 Innovate BC Regional Startup Prize.
Awarded to a most promising startup placing in the Top 10 or Top 25, that is positioned to make a significant regional impact. The venture must be located outside of the Greater Vancouver Regional District.
This year there are eight companies competing for the prize this year.
Axolotl Biosciences, Victoria
Axolotl Biosciences’ mission is to advance the fields of tissue engineering and regenerative medicine through the development and distribution of innovative products for 3D bioprinting, enabling the generation of human tissues for a variety of applications, including research and drug screening.
