ESG Inks Multi-year, Multi-game Partnership With Mighty Kingdom Games

January 13, 2022 by Techcouver Newsdesk Leave a Comment

Vancouver’s East Side Games (ESG) continues to add to its library of games.

The LEAF Mobile  subsidiary has inked a two-year, co-development partnership with Australia’s Mighty Kingdom Games for the global release of four mobile games on iOS and Android.

Established in 2010, Mighty Kingdom has released more than 50 games, with more than 50 million downloads, and has worked with major IP licensing partners such as Disney and the LEGO Group.

The new games will see the game studios develop original IP and licensed properties on ESG’s IdleKit platform.

Mighty Kingdom and ESG have been working together on a soon-to-be released mobile game centred on a popular legacy science-fiction franchise. The game utilizes Mighty Kingdom’s narrative expertise, as well as ESG’s IdleKit platform, to give the player a story-rich idle experience.

“Our work with ESG has been fantastic thus far, and we’re excited to strengthen our relationship. Between our combined pools of creativity, experience and technology, we know that with ESG, we’ll deliver rich experiences to players for years to come – both original stories, and well-known universes,” said Phillip Mayes, Managing Director & CEO of Mighty Kingdom.

“This expanded partnership with Mighty Kingdom is a testament to the quality and performance of our Game Kit technology that allows for a material decrease in the typical build to launch timeline for mobile games developed on the platform,” commented Darcy Taylor, CEO of East Side Games.

“Having Australia’s largest independent game developer join us for an additional three games speaks volumes about our platform. We couldn’t be more excited to expand our relationship with Mighty Kingdom and can’t wait to see the finished product!”
