Rapture Labs Adds LayerZero Co-founders To Board Of Advisors

Vancouver web3 gaming startup Rapture Labs has added LayerZero co-founders Bryan Pellegrino and Ryan Zarick to its advisory board.

Pellegrino and Zarick co-founded LayerZero, along with Caleb Banister, to solve a problem nobody else had been able to effectively solve in crypto and blockchain spaces – to enable secure and direct cross-chain communication.

Rapture Labs is launching a series of games that incorporate LayerZero technology to offer players the freedom of choice to utilize the chain of their preference while broadening audiences and increasing their liquidity options.

Earlier this year LayerZero raised a USD $135 million funding round co-led by Sequoia Capital, a16z, and FTX Ventures that valued the web3 startup at $1 billion.

Rapture Labs will release its genesis project, Degen Capital Partners, an omnichain play-to-earn predictive gaming platform tied to real-time crypto market movement Q1 of 2023.
