Every year the Forbes Cloud 100 Rising Stars list highlights 20 cloud startups that are on track to be among the best private cloud companies in the future.
These companies, all of which have raised up to $25 million in total funding, are assessed based on various criteria such as financials, growth, marketing, leadership and culture.
The buzz word among this year’s cohort is AI, from process automation to large language models (LLM), with various purposes such as building websites or handling billing for companies.
Durable—the brainchild of Vancouverites Ross Howard-Jones, James Clift, and Helio Bentes—made Forbes rising stars list for their AI powered platform.
Durable helps launch a business in less than a minute using the power of artificial intelligence technology. The startup offers different products covering different aspects of the business, such as Website Builder, Invoicing, and CRM.
Durable envisions a future with more small businesses—a world “where everyone can become an owner.”
In 2022, Durable raised more than USD $6 million in capital across a pre-seed and seed round from investors including Altman Capital, Torch Capital, Dash Fund, Infinity Ventures, and South Park Commons.
Earlier this year we observed Durable’s early momentum and named them to our annual Techcouver list of Homegrown B.C. Startups to Watch. Shortly after they announced their first major milestone: one million websites built through its AI platform.
Vancouver’s Traction Guest was named one of 20 rising stars on the Forbes 2019 Cloud 100 list.
