Across the UBC landscape, we are seeing research and ideas brought to bear through entrepreneurial pathways, being propelled from the university into the world creating positive economic, cultural and environmental impacts through venture creation.
entrepreneurship@UBC in collaboration with the Institute of Computing, Information and Cognitive Systems (ICICS) have leveraged this innovation and entrepreneurial energy through HATCH Venture Builder, creating a place where entrepreneurs with the drive to shape a better world receive the guidance and resources to achieve their greatest potential.
For the past 10 years, entrepreneurship@UBC has mobilized innovation in collaboration with other entities across the university and wider innovation ecosystem.
entrepreneurship@UBC’s ventures have participated in rigorous training and mentorship to help prepare them for the uncertainty of entrepreneurship as they endure the riskiest stages of venture creation: building networks, establishing market traction and accessing capital.
