Infinitii ai won a bid with the City of Vancouver, the BC-born company announced this week.
The Canadian firm, which offers environmental monitoring to water infrastructure utilities in North America, will provide Vancouver with access to its “flowworks” real-time data monitoring software as part of a three-year contract.
“This sale underscores our expanding North American install base,” stated chief executive officer Jean Charles Phaneuf.
“We are especially pleased that this is the first time we have secured a multi-year contract directly with Vancouver’s Integrated Sewer and Drainage Planning branch,” the CEO added.
With a population of 631,000, Vancouver is British Columbia’s largest municipality and one of Canada’s fastest-growing regions.
Currently, Vancouver’s ISDP branch has an archive of data from 200 flow and level monitoring locations, 38 combined sewer overflow monitoring locations, 14 rainfall monitoring locations, 23 water quality sampling locations, and two groundwater monitoring wells.
Since launching a decade ago in 2014, infinitii ai has evolved into a machine learning software firm that serves customers in many major North American municipalities, including Toronto, Montreal, and York in Canada and Seattle, Boston, and Los Angeles in the US.
Last month, the Vancouver-based predictive analytics company closed a private financing round led by ThreeD Capital.
Infinitii ai rebranded in 2022 from Carl Data Solutions.
