Investors looking to get ahead of the curve are invited to participate in the Innovation & Investment Insider Tours on Monday, May 26th, a full-day curated experience showcasing Metro Vancouver’s leading innovation in cleantech, life sciences, and creative tech.
Timed just before Web Summit Vancouver (May 27–30), the Insider Tours will connect investors with high-growth companies, industry leaders, and fellow investors through a series of sector-specific experiences across the region.
The day begins with transportation from downtown Vancouver to Surrey, the fastest-growing city in the region, for a networking lunch from 11:00am to 12:30pm. From there, attendees will embark on one of three curated bus tours from 12:30pm to 4:30pm, each focused on a different innovation cluster.
The Cleantech Tour includes site visits to Ph7 Technologies, Hydron Energy, and Arca Climate.
The Life Sciences Tour features stops at Kardium, Gandeeva Therapeutics, and AbCellera.
The Creative Tech Tour highlights companies in digital media, entertainment, and AI, including Electronic Arts.
Following the tours, investors will return to Vancouver for a pair of evening networking events. The Venture Showcase at SFU Venture Labs (4:00–6:30pm) will feature rapid-fire pitches from select Series A+ and fast-growing Seed+ companies.
The day wraps up at 33 Acres, where the B.C. Centre for Innovation & Clean Energy (CICE) will host an evening reception highlighting new cleantech investment opportunities.
Organizers say the Insider Tours are designed for investors seeking to back local companies, forge strategic partnerships, or explore establishing a regional presence. Applications to attend are open until April 30, 2025.
