Light House Reveals Expanded Cohort for Circular Construction Accelerator

December 3, 2025 by Knowlton Thomas Leave a Comment

Seventeen companies based in British Columbia have joined Canada’s only accelerator dedicated exclusively to advancing circular innovation across the building materials and construction sectors.

The Circular Construction Accelerator is powered by Light House, a catalyst for building circular and regenerative environments that aim to nurture ecological and human health.

“We are proud to support this cohort of innovators whose work represents the promise of a more circular and regenerative future,” remarked Gil Yaron, Managing Director of Circular Innovation for Light House.

The 2025 cohort is as follows:

  • Atlantis Fiber
  • Demolition Impossible
  • EcoWaste
  • Fibertech
  • Kiwi Innovation
  • Lock-Block
  • NAPP Enterprises
  • New West Gypsum
  • QuantoTech
  • ReCap Materials Management
  • Rockburst Technologies
  • SeaFoam
  • Seacork Studio
  • Szolyd Concrete
  • TimberTiles
  • UrbanJacks
  • Zachary Knight Enterprises

Avid readers of Techcouver will recognize several names on the list, including Seacork, Rockburst, and QuantoTech.

These ventures are innovating how materials are created, how buildings are constructed, and how resources are recovered, according to Yaron.

“Each company shows what’s possible when we rethink how buildings, materials, and systems can support healthier communities and lower-carbon outcomes,” the director if innovation said, adding that “Light House is committed to backing the visionaries who are helping define the next generation of Canada’s built environment.”

The Light House Circular Construction Accelerator is supported by Pacific Economic Development Canada.

Gregor Robertson, the minister responsible for PacifiCan, says “British Columbians are leading the way in developing sustainable solutions for a low-carbon future.”

By “investing in organizations such as Light House, PacifiCan is supporting homegrown innovators addressing real world challenges, driving regional prosperity, and building Canada strong,” he stated.

Michelle Mazzotta, chief executive officer of Kiwi Innovation, says that the Accelerator “has been pivotal” for her startup.

“It connected us with like-minded businesses and collaborators, sparking innovation that simply wouldn’t have happened in isolation,” the entrepreneur said. “I am deeply grateful for the collaboration, expertise, and shared commitment to advancing circular construction and a more sustainable future.”

Light House is inviting more BC-based innovators to apply to the Circular Construction Accelerator.
