Metavista3D showcased its latest spatial display innovations at this year’s Consumer Electronics Show.
The Vancouver-based company says its presence at the annual event was “highly successful.”
“The level of interest we saw at CES 2026 strongly validates our technology and market positioning,” commented chief executive officer Jeff Carlson.
MetaVista3D specializes in glasses-free pseudo-holographic 3D display technology featuring movement tracking and real-time AI-powered 2D-to-3D content conversion.
Possible applications span a wide breadth, from automotive and industrial to medical and military to, of course, entertainment.
The solution aims to solve some of the cons of 3D glasses and headsets—the current standard of 3D technology that, while effective from an immersion standpoint, can be considered inconvenient and may also cause eye strain, neck pain, or other physical discomfort with excessive use.
During CES 2026, Carlson says Metavista3D engaged in discussions with a broad range of potential customers and partners, citing names such as Volkswagen, Sharp, BOE, Dolby, Huawei, Tianma, AUO, Toyota, Sony, NVIDIA, Amazon, IGT, Samsung, and Desay.
“We are highly encouraged by the quality of the discussions,” the CEO remarked, “and look forward to advancing follow-up engagements with these prospective customers and partners.”
Metavista3D’s new generation of advanced 3D display solutions include a 27″ 5K 3D Display with Multiview and Tracking Technology, as well as a 13.3″ 4K 3D Display with Tracking and Unity SDK that “provides a dynamic and interactive experience in which content adjusts in real time based on the viewer’s head and eye position.”
It is known that, at CES, the boundaries of technology tend to be pushed—sometimes more for dramatic marketing effect rather than practical market readiness.
However, “Glasses-free 3D is ready for market,” assures Selcuk Özer, who serves as Chief Business Development Officer for 3D Global GmbH.
Özer described Metavista3D’s current offerings as “true immersion.”
Metavista3D’s shares are publicly traded in Canada on the TSX-Venture Exchange under the ticker symbol DDD and on the German Stock Exchange in Frankfurt under the ticker symbol E3T.
Reflecting the B.C. company’s momentum from CES, shares in the firm are up more than 30% over the past month.
Metavista3D was founded in 2022 and launched in 2023.
