Vancouver-based Naqi Logix has closed its acquisition of Paris neurotech startup Wisear, expanding its earbud-based neural interface platform and establishing a European R&D hub.
Naqi develops non-invasive neural interfaces that capture bioelectrical signals from within the ear to enable hands-free control of digital systems across accessibility, robotics, and AR/VR applications.
The addition of Wisear strengthens the company’s intellectual property portfolio and adds expertise in signal processing, embedded AI, and intent detection.
“Together, we believe this marks the beginning of the post-touch, post-voice era of computing,” said Mark Godsy, Co-Founder and CEO of Naqi Logix.
Wisear’s Paris operations will now operate as a wholly owned subsidiary, serving as Naqi’s European innovation centre focused on AI, firmware, and next-generation wearable development.
Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
