Vancouver’s Kindly Scales Caregiving Support Nationwide

March 10, 2026 by Robert Lewis Leave a Comment

Vancouver-based Kindly has launched its AI-enabled care navigation platform nationally, partnering with major Canadian employers to support workers caring for aging family members.

Backed by leaders behind TD Innovation Partners, Felix Health, and Halo Health, Kindly blends human care expertise with AI-powered tools to guide families through Canada’s complex care systems.

Employers including Skip, Wealthsimple, Flipp, and Inovia Capital are already offering Kindly as an employee benefit, giving more than 3,000 workers access to the platform.

The company plans to expand to 50 employer partners covering 100,000 employees by the end of 2026, supported by a national team of 14 care specialists.

More than six million Canadians — roughly 35% of the workforce — are balancing full-time jobs with caregiving responsibilities, often navigating fragmented healthcare and social support systems alone.

“Today, families are the default care navigators, usually with no training, no roadmap, and no time,” said Logan Gibson, Founder and CEO of Kindly. “We built Kindly so Canadians don’t have to choose between caring for their loved ones and showing up at work.”

Diana McLachlan, CPO at Wealthsimple, said the platform aligns with the company’s workplace philosophy.

“We talk a lot about building a workplace where people can do the best work of their lives. That only happens when they feel supported as humans. Caregiving is one of the heaviest things people carry quietly, and Kindly gives them real, practical help when they need it most.”

Skip has also positioned caregiving support as a core employee benefit.

“Kindly was the natural next step in Skip’s mission to provide industry-leading, holistic care for our employees,” said Cailey Brown, Head of HR, Canada at Skip. “This isn’t only about adding a benefit, but providing tangible support our people need to navigate life’s challenges with confidence.”

The platform offers needs assessments, one-on-one guidance from licensed care experts, and personalized care plans to help families navigate aging and long-term care.

Headquartered in Vancouver, Kindly delivers support tailored to provincial care systems nationwide. The service is available through employer benefits and directly to families.
