QSE Expands Market Reach for Post-Quantum Security Solutions

March 13, 2026 by Knowlton Thomas Leave a Comment

Quantum Secure Encryption this week highlighted “continued global expansion, channel growth, platform development milestones, and increasing commercial engagement” during a business update.

QSE specializes in post-quantum data security, encryption, and secure data infrastructure. Their solutions help protect sensitive data from cyber threats and quantum-enabled attacks across commercial, enterprise, and the public sector.

The Vancouver-based firm, which last year rebranded from Scope Technologies, has observed “continued commercial traction and infrastructure development as organizations worldwide begin preparing for the transition toward post-quantum cryptographic standards.”

Since the November rebrand, QSE has expanded its operational footprint to 13 countries, including most recently Brazil, up from four markets previously. The B.C. firm also expanded its partner ecosystem.

“Over the past several months we have focused on building the foundations required for global adoption of post-quantum security solutions,” says Ted Carefoot, chief executive officer of QSE.

QSE joined the Canadian Association of Defence and Security Industries as well as the Municipal Information Systems Association to “provide pathways for participation in Canadian public-sector and defence-related cybersecurity opportunities.”

“Municipal governments are responsible for protecting essential services and sensitive citizen data, often under significant operational and resource constraints,” noted Carefoot. “Our participation … reflects QSE’s commitment to supporting municipalities with practical, implementation-ready approaches to cybersecurity and post-quantum readiness, while contributing to informed discussions around digital stewardship, governance, and long-term trust.”

On the technology front, QSE’s Quantum Preparedness Assessment platform now includes expanded automation capabilities designed to assist organizations in identifying cryptographic dependencies and preparing for long-term migration planning.

QSE also integrated its proprietary quantum-resistant entropy layer into the firm’s QAuth identity and authentication platform, “reinforcing cryptographic resilience within identity workflows.”

“Our expansion into additional markets, growth of our channel ecosystem, and continued development of our platform capabilities position us to support organizations as they begin preparing for the long-term transition to post-quantum cryptographic standards,” stated Carefoot.

Shares in QSE have been declining since the rebrand from Scope and are down 30% since the start of the year.
