Cyber threats are escalating. AI is moving faster than most organizations can keep up. And for many business leaders, the question isn’t if change is coming, it’s how to respond with clarity and confidence.
That’s exactly where Sunco Connect comes in.
Following a strong response from Vancouver’s tech community last year, Sunco Connect returns on June 2, bringing together IT leaders, executives, and industry experts for an afternoon focused on what matters most right now: cybersecurity, AI, cloud, and the future of business operations.
Hosted by Sunco Communication and Installation, the event is designed to cut through the noise and give attendees direct access to the people shaping today’s technology landscape.
The event opens with a keynote from Matt Roth, Partner at Sovereign Advisory, titled “Ready or Not: Reputation, Response and Everything Your Breach Plan Forgot.” Matt will walk through what organizations often overlook in their breach planning, covering cyber incident leadership, crisis communication, and how to build the kind of organizational readiness that holds up when it actually matters.
From there, the conversation moves into three focused panels:
- Cybersecurity & Compliance — protecting your organization in an increasingly complex threat landscape
- Cloud & Connectivity — building resilient, always-on operations
- AI & Automation — moving beyond the hype to real business impact
Panelists include leaders from Mitel, Sherweb, Acronis, ASC Technologies, and Talkative, offering practical insights and real-world perspective.
“There’s a lot of ambiguity right now around cybersecurity and AI, and it’s changing constantly,” says Sean Schoenberger, President of Sunco. “Sunco Connect gives leaders direct access to experts so they can ask the questions they’re actually facing and walk away with clarity on what to do next.”
This year’s event also marks a major milestone for Sunco. As the company celebrates its 25th anniversary, attendees are invited to stay for a closing happy hour and join Sean Schoenberger, president of Sunco, and Mike Schoenberger, CEO of Sunco, in recognizing 25 years of supporting Canadian businesses. It’s a chance to connect, reflect, and celebrate with the community that has been part of that journey.
Sunco Connect Vancouver takes place on June 2, 2026, at the Sheraton Vancouver Wall Centre, running from 12:00pm to 6:00pm. Registration is now open.
