Rocket Doctor AI is partnering with a company out of Ottawa to improve healthcare through technology.
The mission of Vancouver-based Rocket Doctor is to deliver “scalable, AI-enhanced clinical and diagnostic tools that improve healthcare access and outcomes across North America.”
The firm’s flagship technology is the Global Library of Medicine, an AI-driven knowledge engine built with the expertise of hundreds of clinicians worldwide.
Combined with a digital health marketplace, Rock Doctor helps physicians to launch and grow independent practices which in turn expands access to care for rural and remote communities.
“At Rocket Doctor, we believe access to healthcare should be simple, timely, and patient-centered,” says Dr. Pamela Lai, Director of Clinical Partnerships at Rocket Doctor.
Rocket Doctor is partnering with Mindstride AI, which delivers integrated virtual and in-person healthcare services designed to improve access and health outcomes.
Through the partnership, physicians on Rocket Doctor will provide after-hours and overflow coverage for Mindstride patients, according to to a statement from the companies.
“Mindstride has built an innovative model focused on proactive, connected care, and we’re proud to support that vision by extending access to physician services beyond traditional clinic hours,” stated Lai. “Together, we’re helping ensure patients can receive care when and where they need it.”
Mindstride “was created to reimagine healthcare through a more proactive, accessible, and connected approach,” according to cofounder Rudi Asseer, who functions as chief executive officer.
Partnering with Rocket Doctor “strengthens our ability to provide timely access to physician care,” Asseer says, “while ensuring our patients remain connected to their broader healthcare journey.”
