Infiligence Opens Richmond Engineering Hub to Bring Enterprise AI Into Production

July 28, 2026 by Techcouver Newsdesk Leave a Comment

Vancouver is gaining a new enterprise AI engineering hub as Infiligence expands its presence in North America.

The AI-native platform engineering company has launched a Forward Deployed Engineering Center of Excellence in Richmond.

The centre will support North American organizations working to move AI projects beyond early experimentation and into secure, production-ready systems.

Forward deployed engineers work directly alongside customer teams, learning their operational challenges before designing and implementing technology to address them. Infiligence’s model combines that embedded approach with AI implementation, platform engineering, industry knowledge, and governance.

“The future of enterprise AI belongs to organizations that can move from ideas to production quickly and responsibly,” said Infiligence founder and CEO Ram Sathia.

Sathia said the Richmond centre represents an investment in a model that gives senior engineers responsibility for solving customer problems and seeing projects through to production.

From its new B.C. hub, Infiligence plans to help clients adopt enterprise and agentic AI, automate workflows, modernize cloud platforms, develop AI-ready data architecture, and strengthen DevSecOps and AI governance.

The team will also support verification, validation, and regulatory compliance—capabilities that are especially important to Infiligence’s customers in healthcare and life sciences.

Leading the centre will be Kiru Thangaraj, who has been appointed Chief Forward Deployed Engineer and Mission Lead.

Thangaraj will oversee the growth of Infiligence’s global forward deployed engineering practice. His responsibilities include developing delivery methods, mentoring project teams, expanding technical capabilities, and working with customers on strategic AI programs.

Thangaraj said the company wants its engineers to become part of each customer’s mission, working alongside internal teams to deliver AI systems that are secure, scalable, compliant, and ready for real-world use.

The launch comes as Infiligence increases its investment across North America in response to demand from the healthcare, life sciences, and events and auctions sectors.

In addition to its new Vancouver-area presence, Infiligence lists locations in the San Francisco Bay Area and Chennai, India. The company recently highlighted the opening of new offices in both Vancouver and Pleasanton, California, as part of its global expansion.
