GeoComply Extends Partnership with FanDuel to Deliver Tech Worthy of Trust

August 17, 2026 by Knowlton Thomas Leave a Comment

GeoComply is extending its partnership with FanDuel Group, a mobile gaming company based in the United States.

Founded in Vancouver in 2011 by Anna Sainsbury and David Briggs, GeoComply offers a digital identity platform and trust engine that can detect and stop sophisticated attack vectors.

The B.C. innovator has already handled billions of player checks for FanDuel with 99.7% pass rates and 99.999% service availability.

Moving forward, a multi-year renewal of the pair’s relationship will see FanDuel continue to leverage GeoComply’s identity verification and fraud prevention technology to help protect customers and maintain the integrity of its platform, according to a statement.

GeoComply will also commit forward-deployed engineers to FanDuel’s product and operations teams to deepen the use of device intelligence, behavioural signals, and more.

“GeoComply has been an important partner as we’ve built a platform our customers can trust,” says FanDuel president Christian Genetski.

“Our focus has always been on delivering a great customer experience while operating with the highest standards of integrity and compliance,” Genetski continued, adding: “We’re excited to continue working with GeoComply in the years ahead.”

GeoComply is a member of the BC Tech Association.

FanDuel and GeoComply “have grown up together,” according to Kip Levin, “from their first regulated state to nationwide scale.”

“What’s been interesting,” says the chief executive officer of GeoComply, “is everything we’ve built together on top of those signals since.”

That includes fraud and abuse detection, frictionless authentication, and market insights—the “kind of intelligence that is key to operators’ compliance at scale,” says Levin.

The company was recognized as the “Financial Transaction Security Platform of the Year” for the second year in a row from FinTech Breakthrough, an independent market intelligence organization that recognizes companies and technologies across the global market.

Similar longstanding partnerships held by GeoComply include one with venerable Las Vegas icon Caesars Entertainment.

GeoComply was this year recognized as the “Financial Transaction Security Platform of the Year” for the second time in a row from FinTech Breakthrough, an independent market intelligence organization that recognizes companies and technologies across the global market.

In April, GeoComply laid off dozens of employees, a move which the firm described as part of a “deliberate strategic evolution.”

A subsidiary of a subsidiary of Flutter Entertainment, New York’s FanDuel comprises a portfolio of brands across mobile wagering, with a presence across all 50 states.
