Vancouver’s iQmetrix has acquired Carmel, Indiana’s Shiftlab, a scalable, performance-based scheduling platform designed for retail organizations.
iQmetrix is North America’s leading provider of telecom retail management software.
The previously partnered companies are joining forces to ensure they’re continuing to bring the absolute best data-driven, AI-based workforce management solutions to the market.
iQmetrix and Shiftlab have been partners since January of 2020, and this was a natural progression of that strategic relationship. This acquisition serves as a product investment for iQmetrix to expand its platform and will support revenue growth for both companies.
“Adding Shiftlab to the iQmetrix group of companies not only expands our retail management platform capabilities, but also solves a critical pain point for multi-store retail operators looking for employee scheduling automation that is seamlessly integrated into their point-of-sale system,” said Jeff Vall, Vice President of Corporate Development at iQmetrix.
“We are so excited to have the Shiftlab team as part of the iQmetrix family, and we look forward to helping them grow the Shiftlab brand.”
Workforce scheduling is a critical element in enabling a retailer to maximize sales and profits. In addition to its scheduling solutions, Shiftlab offers its unique experience in helping retailers understand the vitals of running an optimized labor operation.
With its easy-to-use, highly evolved algorithms, Shiftlab helps retailers build confidence in their processes while providing an integrated platform that influences and educates the business in real time.
“Shiftlab is thrilled join iQmetrix and become a significant strategic growth driver in the combined company,” said Mitch Black, CEO of Shiftlab.
“We not only view this as a successful exit, but also see iQmetrix as an accelerator in executing our vision of building a market-leading platform that evolves workforce management from a task to a profit-driving strategy for retailers. This is a testament to the vision and innovation of the founders Devin Shrake and Erik Schlesselman.”
