The Future of Food With The Vancouver Entrepreneurs Forum

From hunting and gathering to Doordash and Uber Eats, food is evolving.

Hometown meal kit delivery service Fresh Prep has launched an industry-first Zero Waste Kit.

Vancouver’s Vejii has launched an online marketplace for vegan and plant-based products for Canada’s estimated 2.3 million vegetarians and 850,000 vegans.

AVA has created indoor gardening technology to help people experience the magic of growing.

This week the Vancouver Entrepreneurs Forum explores topics such as how to feed the world circa 2050, innovation in agri-tech, sustainability and the recent creating of lab grown meat.

Emceed by Pangaea Ventures’ Kookai Chaimahawong and moderated by CBRE’s Heali Thirlwell, the panel event will include Matt Anderson-Baron of Future Fields, Cole Orobetz of Alpha Foods, Mitchell Scott of The Very Good Butchers, and Dhruv Sood of Fresh Prep.

The online event will also include lightning pitches by AVA Technologies, Save Da Sea Foods, Susgrainable, and Vejii.
