19 B.C. Tech Companies Named Deloitte Technology Fast 50 Winners

Deloitte Canada has announced this year’s winners of the Technology Fast 50, Companies-to-Watch, and Enterprise Fast 15 awards, recognizing the world-class achievements of the best in tech companies across Canada for the 25th year.

The program reaches a milestone this year, celebrating 25 years of recognizing Canadian technology companies’ achievements, outstanding innovation, leadership, and growth.

The list unveiled today highlights those who have shown true resilience, commitment to innovation, leadership, and rapid revenue growth between 2018 and 2021.

The B.C. companies on the Technology Fast 50 list are:

  • #2 – Certn, Victoria – 6,407%
  • #9 – Spocket, Vancouver – 2,854%
  • #21 – DarkVision, Vancouver – 1,205%
  • #23 – Klue, Vancouver – 1,041%
  • #28 – Fantuan, Vancouver – 843%
  • #29 – GeoComply, Vancouver – 842%
  • #32 – Freight Club, Vancouver – 802%
  • #34 – Later, Vancouver – 790%
  • #43 – Thinkific, Vancouver – 515%
  • #44 – Tribe Property Technologies, Vancouver – 502%
  • #46 – Jane, North Vancouver – 467%
  • #50 – ScalePad, Vancouver – 421%

Two B.C.-based companies – Vancouver’s Thrive Health and Ionomr Innovations – received a Companies-to-Watch award as part of this year’s program, a category that highlights emerging Canadian tech companies that exhibit strong growth and show potential to be a future candidate of the Technology Fast 50 ranking.

Thrive Health was #1 in the category with revenue growth of 4,221%. Thrive Health’s technology equips healthcare providers with enhanced access to patient data, allowing them to design custom care workflows according to individual patient needs.

This year’s Technology Fast 50 program also included the Clean Technology award, a ranking of Canada’s top clean innovators providing processes, goods or services that reduce environmental impacts.

Vancouver’s MineSense (3,154%), good natured (1,098%), and BQE Water (76%) were highlighted on this list.

Additionally, two companies from B.C.  – Vancouver’s Trulioo and East Side Games – received an Enterprise Fast 15 award, a leadership category open to companies that recorded a minimum revenue of $10 million in 2016 and a minimum revenue of $25 million in 2019.

This year’s tally of nineteen beats last year’s totals when Deloitte included eighteen B.C. companies on their annual list.
