New Ventures BC has narrowed the field for their annual startup competition from 200+ companies to just 10 finalists and next week we find out who the winners are.
Presented by Innovate BC, the New Ventures BC Competition started in 2000, under the direction of Wal van Lierop, to encourage innovation in BC’s tech sector.
Since then, the organization has supported 2,360 startups, who have created 3,720+ jobs and have raised $302 million in financing.
See who’s taking home over $250,000 in cash and prizes at the award ceremony on Tuesday, October 3rd at the SFU Segal Business School at 500 Granville Street.
