November 5, 2025 by Techcouver Newsdesk Leave a Comment

Foresight Canada has unveiled its 5th annual Foresight 50, celebrating the nation’s most investible cleantech companies. This year’s list, the 2025 edition, underscores the continued strength of British Columbia’s innovation economy—19 of the 50 honourees hail from the province.

With global climate urgency rising, B.C.’s ventures continue to set the standard for scalable, sustainable solutions. From clean energy storage to green building materials, these companies are helping redefine the future of industry.

Among the B.C.-based innovators recognized this year are Vancouver’s Atlantis Fiber, Insporos, LOD Technologies, Oxygen8, Sixone, Wafr Technologies, and Xatoms, all contributing cutting-edge advances in fields ranging from smart materials to renewable energy.

Nearby Burnaby’s Sustaero and Abbotsford’s Atlas Power Technologies were also honoured for their breakthroughs in sustainable power generation.

Across the Lower Mainland, Richmond’s Fuse Power Management and Voxelis, along with Hydron Energy and SenseNet from North Vancouver, are tackling challenges from grid optimization to emissions monitoring.

In the Fraser Valley and beyond, Port Coquitlam’s QuantoTech Solutions and Tree Track Intelligence are advancing agtech and forest management innovation, while Squamish’s FireSwarm Solutions and Ontoly are pioneering wildfire mitigation and environmental analytics.

Interior B.C. is represented by Kelowna’s REN Energy and Revelstoke’s Good Way Homes, both developing next-generation renewable energy technologies.

These companies form part of a 50-member cohort that Foresight Canada describes as “market-ready, investment-worthy, and leading the charge toward a sustainable economy.”

“Cleantech innovation is Canada’s greatest opportunity for sustainable growth and global leadership, but it requires more than vision,” said Brittany Goldhawke, Director of Earth Tech and Investor Relations at Foresight Canada.

“By backing these ventures, we’re not just supporting businesses—we’re investing in Canada’s capacity to lead the low-carbon transition and build a resilient, competitive economy for generations to come.”

Selected by an independent panel of investors and industry experts, Foresight 50 companies are evaluated for their potential in economic growth, environmental impact, and scalability.

Readers can explore the complete 2025 cohort in the Foresight 50 Pitchbook.
